Saturday

OUR TAMPINES HUB SCREENING LIVERPOOL MATCH AT THE SAME TIME AS TAMPINES ROVERS HOME GAME! WELL DONE!

Our Tampines Hub plan to screen a "live" Premier League game while the home team Tampines Rovers match is playing at the SAME time and at the SAME place!

Maybe I'll hear "You'll Never Walk Alone" being sung during the Tampines Rovers game?

Sunday

I FELT LIKE A FOOL TO BUY TICKETS TO THE SINGAPORE VS ARGENTINA GAME JUST TO WATCH MESSI PLAY......

Looks like I'm not alone in feeling that way....

Not supporting anymore meaningless money making matches at the Sportshub again...

FAS should think of 125 ways to make Singapore Football Great Again...

Monday

JOSEPH SCHOOLING watched first match at STAMFORD BRIDGE, CHELSEA LOST!

Chelsea 1 Crystal Palace 2.....

Please don't JINX my favorite team!

Wednesday

I bought "Early Bird" tickets. Now I feel like a FOOL!

I should have waited.

I should have been reminded that they have 55,000 seats to fill.

I should have known that Manchester United is playing that same night.

I spend $45 each on a ticket. Now can others go in FREE with drinks they bought in exchange for the tickets.

Thank you WSG for making me feel like a fool!

Monday

SINGTEL provided the MOST EXPENSIVE World Cup 2014 coverage and the WORST!

1. Commentators made a lot of mistakes, keep mentioning the wrong player names even after replay. They only realise their mistakes a while later 1 min later. BBC commentary is way better.

2. The host Richard Lenton irritated me, he sounds more like an auctioneer than a sports commentator.

3. Unknown Pundits. ESPN US invited Michael Ballack, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Patrick Viera, Gilberto Silva, etc. Singtel got........ Paul Parker?????

4. Half time show seems to have 1 min of analysis/replay, 14 min of adverts....

5. Pre/Post game show has almost nothing. No one gave live updates

I'm glad I did not subscribe.

I pity those people who paid for the lousy service.

Sunday

The most important message I get from "World at your feet"!

This is so true! Can you get wealth by playing football in Singapore?

Friday

How much did People's Association pay Singtel to broadcast the 2014 World Cup at our community clubs?

I wonder if the PA has a discount for the deal?

How much of tax payers money is used for this?

Is it worth it to spend so much to watch Messi, Ronaldo & co in action?

If tax payers money is used, wouldn't it be better to spend it to help the needy?

Wednesday

I found a place in Singapore that is not crowded with Foreign Talents!

An S.League match!

Perhaps people can't afford the tickets to the domestic football league in the most expensive city in the world?

Look Honey! So many empty seats!

Friday

LionsXII match? Nah... The Peoples' Association screening English Premier League instead...

LionsXII play Selangor this Saturday, is there any community centre screening the match LIVE?

Those who can't travel to the stadium can gather and watch the match and support our Singaporean football talents!

Sunday

Why The People's Association screens an BPL match at the same time as S League match?

The People's Association says it's a "MUST SEE" clash!

S League champions Tampines Rovers and giants Home United playing the same night!

Foreign talents better to watch than Singapore talents?

Conclusion?

BPL "MUST SEE", S.League "don't bother"

That's THE SINGAPORE WAY?

Wednesday

Singapore Super Sub! Always ready to play!

I think he's going straight to a football game....

Monday

Sunday

The People's Association helping Singtel promote it's MIO Stadium English Premier League package?

Why screen foreign football matches and feature foreign football talents instead of Singapore's very own S.League?

I don't see The People's Association promoting Singapore's S.League and organise screening of LIVE matches at community centres. Why is that so?

Saturday

Watching S.League matches part of National Service?

The Singapore way of boosting the attendance of domestic football matches.

Spend night's off watching a football match in the most expensive city in the world and enjoying a night snack of delicious ice cream!

Well at least it''s better than doing guard duty in camp.

Come next year our FAS president can boost that S.League attendance up 45% again!

Thursday

EPIC FAIL? Did they get the time wrong?

I thought the Man U vs Liverpool match is on Sunday, 16/3/14?

So what are the residents going to watch on Saturday during the BPL Live screening?

Singtel Sets A New National Record!

Singtel has set a new record for World Cup subscription! $112.35 to watch WORLD CUP 2014 in Brazil! Up from $88 in 2010!

CONGRATULATIONS TO SINGTEL FOR SETTING A NEW NATIONAL RECORD!

*By the way, I will not be subscribing

Wednesday

5 things I’ll stop paying for in the most expensive city in the world

Yes, Singapore is number 1 again. Number 1 most expensive city in the world! As a “poor” Singaporean, I decided to cut unnecessary expenditure, like the following:

1. The Straits Times

Why spend money on newspapers when there are free newspapers? I can read news online free too.

2. 8 Days, i-weekly

I just borrow them from the library

3. MIO TV or Starhub TV

I can watch most shows online.

4. MIO Stadium BPL package

$60 a month for BPL is a rip off, been watching BPL matches online since this season.

5. Drinks at foodcourts

I bring my water bottle nowadays.

Tuesday

FREE MOVIE TICKET!

Good deal from S.League again!

FREE movie ticket and FREE food!

Just buy a ticket to Great Eastern Yeo's S.League Courts Young Lions match!

Anyone going to queue overnight?
