Dear friends, if you're in the Chinatown area and have some spare change, do help this old lady out if you can. As you can see from the picture, she sells old items at $1 each. She is usually stationed at Mohd Ali Lane, which is behind the row of shophouses facing Sri Mariamman Temple at South Bridge Road. She speaks Mandarin and Cantonese.
Let's not forget the less fortunate people in our midst.
