On the other hand, the private companies comes out with terms that is different from how hawkers are run and chasing potential hawker-to-be youngsters away.

I understand from the stall uncle that Kopitiam will take a percentage of their monthly earnings..... And has to meet certain KPI. The more business have the more they will earn. Every 2 years the % will go up, he said it's not about the overheads, the rental is the killer...
